I remember a solitaire game, where we built a 4 x 4 places where the kings were in the corners, queens in the top / bottom and sides taken. They have held the upper deck and filled the spaces, including the middle four points. The goal was, put the picture cards in that particular area, or if you shoot a series, in addition to those already existing, for a total of ten.
